Yes, a hysterectomy should be the decision only if it is the only option.  There are many other treatments that you can do before you have a hysterectomy.  It is very hard on your body.  Please let us know (both of you) how you are doing now.

can not say exactly what is going on with you but I can say that I had the same issues with my pap's and they ended up scraping my cervix and then  doing a cone biopsy. it was not until that tissue was  looked at did they find the cancer. stage 1b1. I am actually scheduled for a radical hysterectomy tomorrow!! The pap is not 100% if its not pappped in the exact spot sometimes the cancer can be missed. Also I bleed and ended up in the hosp after the biopsy cause i had a few bleeders.. I would go see doc and get silver nitrate and that honey paste stuff to stop the bleeding. Good luck. and just so u know, the stage that u have is very early and u have many options still . Please do not go the hysterectomy route if you do not have to!
