My cat eats pencil erasers, can he get lead poisoning?

i think pencil lead is made of graphite, not actual lead, but the erasers might block his little intestines-best to keep the erasers out of reach as FurballsMom suggested-when in doubt: safety first!!

They're not good for him.  I don't believe they have lead in them, but you should definitely find a place to stash your pencils where the cat can't find them.
