its reassuring to have that plan of attack in place, sending you my thoughts and wishes Pip...♥
Back home, will see the surgeon in 1 - 2 weeks for a consult on what surgery will be needed and will create a schedule of attack. Surgery will likely be the middle of June with recovery to the middle of July.
Is surgery to remove the mass still set for today? There have been some unexpected setbacks so I'm not sure. I confuse easily!
My prayers continue...
I'm so glad you're doing better & that your shunt is working properly! Sorry I couldn't comment sooner. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Continue to get better, follow the Dr's orders & get some rest ^..^
I was back in the room by Noon yesterday with the new shunt in place.
Bilirubin was 9.8 before, latest number (as of results report 2 hours ago) is 3.2.
Thinking of you today. Anita, as well. Good to hear all is going as planned with the new shunts. Sending positive thoughts and prayers.
Wishing you luck with the new shunts and praying for a good outcome ...
The boys have not been in the nursery for over 2 months.
First doctor's report this morning is that the new shunts appears to be working as planned. Will have other results later today. Am confidently hopeful of a good outcome.
Thanks all for your best wishes.
Prayers being sent from me, the beagle and Cali~
I am so proud of Miss T!! Are the boys still in the nursery?
I'm sorry to hear about this setback. Know that you're in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending you hugs!

I had a little set back, the shunt developed a blockage. I am writing from the hospital in Baltimore. They put a new, larger shunt in this morning.
I feel pretty good, will be staying over night and the surgeon will consult with me on getting the mass out.
Teia, Buff and Cooper continue to make progress every day. Saturday day night all three were up on the bed with Anita and me. Teia was a bit grumpy, but she did not leave and settled in for awhile.
hey,its good to have some happy reasons to cry about!!
I was really needing some, thanks for posting...
Glad to know you're re feeling better
I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better! It takes a lot of time, patience & love to socialize. You are truly a special person for not giving up! ^..^
AND, me cry!!!
I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better, Pip!!
Knowing YOU cried made ME cry!
huge smile from me.....:)) for Teia and you too Pip...glad your feeling better.
I started crying when I saw it. This is the first time in her life that Teia has trusted another member of her tribe to be so intimate with her. She will be 16 1/2 in June. We will have had her 6 years then. Her previous people saved her from the streets, but did not socialize her. I am trying to give her the life she always should have had.
...and yes, I am feeling very much better, thank you.
That's fabulous! What great success!!! I hope you're feeling well. I'm new to the forum, but I've been reading about them. Congratulations ^..^
*Clapping* *Crowd Roaring* :-)
Oh, Pip! Bless their kitty hearts! That Buffster is a hoot! Gotta love him. And Miss Teia surely does! What a glorious sight. I'm so glad you got that on film. I love it! Take care (and more pics).
Blessings,
Melinda
