Spayed male cat

Hi guys, got a Himalayan Persian (one of those lazy fluffy cats) that's been fixed up ages ago, and we also got. Birmese cross female kitten/cat ( 8 months old). Lately the Burmese has been thru the "in heat" phase, but the Himalayan seems to be getting really rough by jumping the Burmese and getting it around the throat, and biting its legs...we also think this happened previously with another kitten who was put down because the Himalayan attacked it and broke its front legs...is this a normal thing...is it jealous .

Ye your Himalayan male was neutered, but your Burmese little girl needs to be spayed.  Spaying should be done at 6 months.

Now if your Himalayan has been this way with other cats, males, well I would say he needs a chill pill. Maybe some Prozac to mellow the guy out.

Perhaps you should take him to your vets to have a med check. He may be ill!

The Himalayan was fixed up many years ago,, the fighting isn't just mating attempts, it's really looks like full on throat ripping...the other cat we had was a male and the Himalayan done the same thing but broke the cats leg by biting

Your Burmese 8 month old NEEDS to be SPAYED NOW!!!
Your Himalayan (male is doing what cat's DO) he wants to mate with the female. This will continue to happen until she is spayed, so please help her out!
