the vets cant find anything

I have a 5 month old cat who has seen 4 vets in this past summer no one after money spent has found the answer we tried dif diet and still he is having seizers. I no longer have any more money being on disability and had to pay damages to the appartment my child did. He was on diazapan every 12 hrs. He had a seizer that's now keeping him from jumping his hind legs won't even let him go to the litter box. I am hoping to find out if maybe u will know here considering all tests for liver brain tumors and nerves negative. Could this b result as to his mother and father are brother and sister same litter

Oh hon I am so sorry to hear this..............sometimes we just need to let go if its in the cats best interests to do so....if she is suffering it would be the best for her.
Has she regained the use of her back legs, will she?....Its a huge commitment to care for one with such a disability, will she also loose the ability to control her bowels?
Honey don't allow anyone to push you into doing something your not comfortable with, theres no immediate rush to do a darn thing, just keep her comfortable and happy....take your time to think things over well and see the world from her eyes...
IF she ISN'T suffering I applaud you for the love and commitment you are willing to give her, however hon IF she IS suffering I beg you to please put her best interests ahead of what your heart wishes.
This is one of the hardest things we pet parents have to make, we do it out of love.
I send you both my prayers and big (((hugs))))

I am so sorry to hear this.  It makes me sad to hear you say that.  I will tell you that no matter what you will be ok.  Maybe you can take a little solace in the fact that you gave your cat a good life, even if it was a short one.

Love,

I took my baby to the vet today and they told me that I am going to have to put him to sleep. I don't know if I can. If my child was dyeing or having this problem they wouldn't suggest putting her out of missery so y a cat. Its not fair

I'm so sorry for all the problems you and kitty are having, I'm afraid we are only kitty parents here not Vets, so its impossible for us to diagnosis when a Vet and tests can't.
I do suggest you search the archives of this forum just incase someone in recent years has posted about a similar problem and hopefully some answers...?

Even in people seizures are sometimes hard to diagnosis and need to rely strictly on medication, have you tried another medication besides diazapan?
I would encourage you to try gabapentin, its a common one used in the cat world(human too)

I wish you tons of luck with your search, I wish I could have been of more help. please keep us posted.

I am afraid that I can't afford the advance testing and by the time I get the money he may die. He now has 2 to 3 seizers a day and it hurts me so bad  that I can't do anything. He had tests for toxins he even had a brain test and blood tests done I was told nothing could be done but I am praying 4 help I think there is a sollution but I now have no money

The only I can suggest is that you pick one vet and stick with him.  By going to 4 different vets you are probably paying money over and over again for each vets to do the same examination and tests the previous vets have already done.  Advanced testing may be required for a definitive diagnosis, especially when the nervous or muscular systems are involved or there are clinical signs of possible brain damage.
