Well, Hissie came through the intestional surgery with flying colors. She is stable. The vet found what was wrong with Hissie. It was a trapped huge hairball in the intestine. The hairball was removed. Plus, the vet did exploratory surgery...checking liver, etc. All her organs are in excellent shape. I never gave Hissie hairball food, as she never much groomed herself. We always brushed her about daily. But, the vet is going to give us hairball med to give to her. And I will be doing this faithfully. I am so thrilled and very thankful, that my sweet little girl is going to be fine. At 15 she is in excellent shape. I just know we got more years together. I thank God above for pulling my cat through this. Plus, I thank this wonderful vet, that just would not give up on her. Hissie gets to come home tomorrow. I am simply on cloud nine tonight. I cannot wait to pick her up from the vet. And when my sweet Hissie gets home, she is going to get tons of TLC. I have been so lonesome without my sweet kitty. So, this story had a very happy ending. I thank everyone for their support, stories and best wishes. It has greatly helped get me through this tough time. Hissie and me thank each and everyone of you. God Bless you all and all the kitty cats, dogs, etc. They are God's special gifts to us humans.
