Avon Skin So Soft is great for keeping fleas off newborn puppies and kittens. NOT the Skin So Soft that is actually an insect repellent, but the plain old original Skin So Soft that is used to relieve extremely dry skin. Just put some on your hands and rub it all over the babies, making sure you get through the haircoat and down to the skin. The little ones will be all greasy for a couple of days, but it won't hurt the mom and it's certainly better than having them being drained of their blood a drop at a time by the vicious little vampire fleas.

Glad you went to the vet, and I hope Frontline cures the fleas. I personally have not heard that it works, especially on kittens, but hey, it might just do it for yours. Good Luck.
I went to the vet and they recommended i redo mother for fleas with frontline, as it is safe in nursing mothers and thet gave me a frontline spray for the kittens and said to use 2 sprays per kitten. I didn't want to risk bathing them in case they got a chill. They also said i should start worming them from 2 weeks.
Don't put any chemicals on their tiny bodies as it can be very dangerous if the kitties less than 6 weeks old, which they are.
Perhaps you will not believe me on this, but Dawn dishwashing detergent works and is usually recommended by many breeders. You could give them a warm bath using Dawn. When you're done, manually pick off the remaining fleas.
You might want to talk to an expert about it. You could also take them to the vet so they treat the fleas for you; but if you're on a tight budget, I would consider asking a vet if you should use Dawn on your kittens just as part of precaution measurements. There are lots of online resources that could show you how to bathe a kitten with fleas. I wish you good luck, and hopefully, you will come back with an update on your kittens' health.
