As I wrote in the Quantum Leap Teia thread, she was in our bedroom again this morning, a little after 2 AM and again a little after 5 AM, just before I left for work. Had the camera ready just in case...
The 2 AM was a little look see around the TV stand and a couple of ear scritches.
When I opened the shower door about 05:10, there she was, sitting on the bath mat again. While I dried, she put her forepaws up on the edge of the tub. Got a couple of damp scritches, then wandered off.
The attached picture was taken just before I left for work, about 05:20. I was putting on my shoes; Miss Teia came into the bedroom, walked right past me and to the side of the tub. Put her forepaws up again, made like she was going to jump in, but sat back down before I could snap that pose.
So, for anyone reading this forum who has had a cat that hasn't been becoming sociable...this is the result of 2 tears patient work with a rescued, abused, feral kitten, whose previous humans in the 10 years they had her treated her with kindness, but neglected to give her the affection and attention she needs.
THERE IS HOPE for any animal, heck, for most any person.
And I hope the Teia stories have been smile raising for those of you in need of such.
