my boys love to have a cardboard box too....but thats a great idea ' a tunnel' I will have to try and make one, they would love that. cats generally just love to be able to hide and attack....Sami makes me have at least one game hour with him everyday too...
He's like Jade he'll sit in 'his spot' and look at me with those big beautiful eyes and just beg me to play with him....Nemo is such a big lazy male...rarely plays, not like Sami.....oh what would we do without our kids eh...)

Hahaha, Opus. Thanks, that was cute.  Loved the legs all splayed out.  Kitty didn't look too happy at the end.  

My husband made what he calls a "ghetto toy" for Jade.  Cut out the front and back of a cardboard box so it's like a tunnel.  She Loves it!  At first though, the tunnel entrances weren't large enough so when she would dive through, she'd lift the whole box up and it freaked her out (she's gained a bit of weight this Winter, no surprise).  Now the entrances are larger and she has a ball.  We have her multicolored rug on top of the box and she loves to just sit up there.  Pull a string or put mousies up there and she attacks. She likes to hear the sound and noise her claws make on the cardboard.  She'd been quiet for a while last night and I found her inside just looking at me from within.  We have play time every night - whether I feel like it or not, lol.  She runs and hides in there and looks at me hopefully and I can't resist.  

Now I have to log out, since viewing that link used up every bit of virtual memory I have, but that laugh was worth it : )
