I too was told i have injury to my brain .. not on ssi.. but after being decompressed for over 10 years.. having my legs and arms getting weak and getting myclonus jerks bad.  I work in a neurosurgical icu.. I see cases come through.. not sure they know what the outcome will be for a patient being decompressed.   Sometimes..makes patients stable.. sometimes makes them worse.. still alot of medical community believe it is better not to intervene surgically unless you have neurological deficits.  Kinda *****!

Not on SSI, but on SSDI.

There are other medical issues that related to my approval for SSDI though.
