2 post surgery questions

Has anybody else's taste changed after surgery? Like things that i use to like to eat i just dont seem to like much. Or could this just be from surgery in general?

The other thing is that my left eye will NOT quit watering! It looks like i'm crying constantly! Has anybody else had this happen? Thanks for any input. Blessings ~ Shannon

My taste did change but mainly b/c of this problem I have been having with my tongue post op. It burns, tingles, goes numb and is swollen...and a long with that comes a bad taste in my mouth. Haven't found the solution to that yet...but the Lyrica seems to maybe be helping it..so I'm thinking it is a nerve thing. Taste is still out though.

I get the eye watering things too...always feel like it looks like I am on the verge of crying. Mine sees to get worse with a headache.

Hey Shannon...sorry I was at my sister's today.....ummmm well yup the eye watering is a chiari thing, and yes I do get it from time to time as I drool on occasion...hate to admit that,. and  no it is not just when I am falling asleep...lol...and no I do not need a bib...it is only on occasion and I tend to feel it as it is starting to go over my lip...so no one really sees a river flowing down my chin.....I also get the watery eye as well....

I do not like sweets as much as b4, but for the most part my taste is ok.,..now smells, that is different, some that didn't bother me b4 I find offensive now....not sure y.

Hi Shannon, I know that this question was asked some time ago and it is a problem for some. I will try and find the post and bump it.

I do get the watering eyes or blocked tear ducts but I dont know if it is CM related. Now you got me thinking lol.

So how are you doing otherwise sis!
