4 months post decompression

For the past few days I have had severe pain from my muscles tightening and seizing in the back of my neck. I'm not sure what to do. Advil does not help. It hurts to move my neck and my whole head aches too.

I have been doing my exercises and using heat and it's getting worse instead of better.

Hi.....are you  doing exercises  of  the neck....the muscles  will get  tight as  they  heal if you do not move  them....use  heat for 15 mins...do  neck   exercises  then  use  heat   again  for 15 mins....

Build up  so  you  are  able  to  do this  several times  a day...

Also  talk  with  your  Dr...if  you  had  a fusion  if they  want you  to do typical post op exercises.....
