Nancy,
Hi! First, how long has it been since your surgery?
Decompression surgery is a big surgery, and your body has been through a lot. So, try to think of how much your body is adjusting and changing after being "compressed" for so many years.
So, it is possible that it is related. Maybe you were cold more before surgery, and now, after surgery, normal temp seems hot. OR, it could be that the surgery has prompted a shift or change in a hormone....it's really hard to say. Since the decompression involves the brain stem, which affects your entire body, it's hard to say what has caused this.
I think this would be a good question for your neurosurgeon. It might be that he could order a thyroid panel to check your levels. Also, if you are newly post-op, it can take months or years to see all of the effects of the surgery.
HTH!
Stay cool,
Rebecca
being hot could mean alot of things . Like getting your thyroid checked, meds , are you of menepaus age.
