Any one in the NW area

I would like to know if there is anyone else in the NW area with Chiari Malformation.  I have notice that there is no support group, meetings or anything else in the area.  Please let me know if you know anyone in the area that would be interrested in starting some kind of support group or yearly meeting.

I will have to look for one closer.  that is a 4 1/2 hour trip for me.  I would never make that far.  I will have to look around for one in the Portland area.  I'm sure being a big city that should have one somewhere.

Thanks for that information.  Where is Edmonds Wa.  I'm not familar with Washington.  I do not mind traveling but i don't want to travel too far.  My husband can not take that much time off of work and right now i can not drive my self yet.  I have not gotten a release to drive yet.

And yes they talk about Chiari too . there is another group but I cant find it . I will keep looking

Hey there!  I live in the NW and I am going to see Dr. Jacob Young in Bellevue.  He is supposed to be a very good Chiari spec.  Shane also recommended a couple of others at Virginia Mason.  I would Love to form a support group!
