Anyone know about Baton Rouge, LA neurosurgeons?

Hello all.  I have been trying to find places closer to where I live.  Does anyone know about a neurosurgeon by the name of Dr. Scott W. Soleay at The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge?  I live close to the gulf in Alabama and there is no one here that knows anything about Chiari.

I do not have any knowledge of doctors in South Louisiana but I used Dr. J Alvernia in West Monroe Louisiana where I live (North East La.). He is an amazing person who is truly concerned for your health. I am 3 months post op and he is still acting as primary physician regarding Chiari and surgery recovery process. I can still call him anytime with any questions and concerns. He explains everything in detail and I never felt less than 100% confident in every decision he made. I know this is still a distance from your home, but in my personal opinion you would be in excellent hands through this process . (He worries about his patients so much he actually resides in the hospital :).  )

  Sorry...not familiar with that name...did you look at our list of Drs? If a member went to that Dr and was treated and liked him they add the name....not being on the list does not mean anything negative, could be no one from this group has been to him yet,...check him out and add him once you have been treated if you like him..as we need more Drs.

Many of us have traveled out of state in order to find the right Dr...I had no one near me either....
