Please seek a second opinion. I love doctor Di he is my NS. But I don't like the "at greatest diameter" part. Thy indicates to me it is not symetrical and that is something to look into. Also it is good that it hasn't changed but May wasn't that long ago.
Good luck and please take care saying prayers for you
Keep in mind we r more emotional than most.....I hope it continues to help and try to focus on something else if possible...I know it is not easy...but we r here to chat if u want : )

Thanks, Selma :) I've been a bit of a basket case this last week...My PCP called in buspar, but I don't think I notice a difference--although...I am not crying all the time, so maybe it is working!
We r venturing into an area I have not done much research on.....and all I can tell u is get the opinion of an expert for the area u need.
I would not want my chiari dr to tell me hoe to treat my thyroid or nething else going on...so follow ur gut.
Stay positive : )

Thanks, Selma!!!
This is from the radiologists report:
There is a nonenhancing hyperintensity in the right
temporal lobe anterior to the temporal horn measuring approximately 9 mm
in greatest diameter. This is nonspecific, and may represent a low grade
neoplasm or malformation of cortical development.
I do feel better that it looks like it did in the May MRI--although that review hadn't found it, when they looked back it was exactly the same...I also feel better that it didn't enhance...that apparently is good?
Hi....sorry...haven't heard this name b4.....trust ur gut...if u feel this guy has the experience u need go see him...if afterward u do not feel the same u have nothing lost but it.....since he is better know for the gliomas I would give it a go....until u check him out u will never really know.
