The best way to approach it, is just go, tell him ur symptoms and see what he says and suggests test wise, if he does not offer more testing it is possible he is not a true Chiari specialist and just a NS that treats Chiari from time to time,...
If that is the case, it is best to leave and find one that is a true specialist....I say this bcuz I was sent to a Dr out of town and told he was a Chiari specialist, he spent 5 mins with me after making me wait over an hour past my scheduled time to tell me I had Chiari(which I knew) but it was above him and he could not suggest nething ....not even who to see next....so I learned not all r what they seem or claim,.
Be open minded.....and if he/she is offering the tests u expect....ask what he is looking for etc,...
DO not go in expecting nething.....and try to relax....no sense stressing over it....
We do have a list of ?'s for the NS in the Health Pages if u want to take a look......
