Bloody Eye

Hi all!  I have woken up twice in the last week and a half with a bloody eye.  It's like a blood vessel in my eye has broken while I slept and I don't know anything more than that.  It doesn't hurt.  It doesn't feel like I have something in my eye. It is, at first, a little blurry on that side, but as I'm up, the blood settles toward the bottom of my eye and the little blur (like having an eye goobie) goes away.  Both times have been on the outside of my left eye.  Both mornings I woke up with the really bad pressure and stiffness in the back of my head/neck (where it all swells up).  Not as much a headache though... this is more localized where head and neck fit together.  (Very typical for me, btw!)

Just wondering if any of you have had this and what the cause was.  I called my pcp the first time, and they weren't too worried about it.  My blood pressure is almost always low, so normal for me is sort of high.  I think the only other thing I've noticed is that my throat seems sort of swollen inside.  Not sore.  And it goes away after I drink something... so like I've slept with my mouth open or something...?

i have had that happen 6 times since my surgery.  no pain, nothing but perhaps a bit of tenderness, like i was rubbing my eye in my sleep or something.  it always seems to happen when i have cramps, like a charlie horse in the calf of my leg.  haven't got a clue why it happens.  they checked me for clots in my legs before releasing me to come home and that was clean.  i will ask dr. h when i go back for my 6 wk check up.  if you find out something before then, please let me know~!

I get that aw well as Lizzy....I do have a cyst on my left eye( on the whites)....and I get that blurry  eye stuff too....but mine does feel like there is something in there....I began to notice it when I was extremely tired and thought that was the reason...I am not sure either y....but I did have it twice this past week.......
