in tears...finally got my referral approved!!z

I went by my pcp's ofc after my son called me & said to go see Carolyn before 4... I didn't know if it was gonna be the news I had been waiting for with my referral or my other scans being approved....well, EVERYTHING was approved, Vanderbilt will call me directly with my appointment, I was in tears when I left the ofc...THANK YOU DEAR GOD :-)

I sooooooo needed that after having my fill of stress from my kids even while at work....my son got in trouble for doing the "wiggle wiggle wiggle" part of the "M&M" commercial..... He begged me not to go out to the school, even though his teachers are saying he was being extremely vulgar....once he told me & showed me exactly how he did it after walking to his desk,  I was like, seriously??? Most of the teachers out there are so freaking grouchy,  idk y they are even teaching...if u dont like ur job, find another career path! Depending on how the same teacher who took him to the office reacts to the note I'm sending about the worksheet she didn't return with my questions on explaining the difference between adjectives & articles (since he made a bad grade on the worksheet due to being out an entire week  from being sick & never had it explained to him)well, she didn't explain it our give it back to him to bring home So if I get a call from my son in the morning, momma ain't gonna be happy having to leave work to defend my son's honor :-)

My phone screwed up a gazillion times during that msg... Hope it makes some sense lol....

I GOT MY REFERRAL !!!

yay :-)

Thanks a bunches, super relieved , it was a definite woohoo moment...

Don't worry about missing it,  I get sidetracked very easily, like the dog on the cartoon "Up"...u know, "squirrel!" & I sometimes find the thought reenteting the atmosphere days later, & I'm like, oh, so that's where that thought went...

Ok, I'm rambling again.... :-)

I am so so happy to hear this for you.  It is the hardest part is finding the NS that is right for you.  Now you have it approved and everything will go more smoothly for you.  Thanks for the good news.

Extremely overwhelmed...thanks Selma, now to wait on Vanderbilt to call with my appointment, I can do this :-)  Even my ct sinus, mri of cspine,a mri of brain were all 3 approved & scheduled at a local hospital, they're all set on April 2nd, so if my appointment with Cheng ends up sooner & with same tests ordered, then I just get to cancel the others, but hopefully a cine mri will be ordered at least along with if not before the others(especially with the constant pressure in the right side of my head & eye)but I'm just beyond relieved to know I'm one step closer to finally being in the care of a NS who can answer my questions & actually believe me...

Validation is priceless....

My prayers go out to those of us still waiting....
