So sorry u are having a bad day. I have those a lot. I feel for u.
I get random low grade temps a lot. I was told it is from excess pressure (from too much CSF) pressing on the hypothalamus which is what regulates body temp. As long as it doesn't go above 101F u should be okay if any higher it most likely is an infection of some sort (maybe not with the chiari but a cold or something else)
I am not giving u medical advice persay just passing on what was shared with me. I sure hope u feel better. I know how hard it is to be there for ur kids when DH is working. Dinner dishes homework and baths become 20x harder
My oldest helps out so much with my youngest on those days but I like giving looong baths to them. And I turn the lights off and light candles. This is relaxing for all of us and some soft music and than pray for no tears and early bed times.
Well try to relax when ur DH gets home ...hop in the tub.
I hope it was nothing much...do u still have a fever?

No I didn't check my BP, I dont have a machine home. I guess it could be that to!
I now have a spliting HA. And the kids just came back from school :( I cant wait for my husband to come back from work!
Hi...yes, it can.....it all depends on where u r with ur chiari...if u r post op, it could be a infection due to a CSF leak.
And my Drs used to always tell me to let them know if I had a fever with my HA's but that was b4 my chiari dx...so I am not sure what they were concerned for then.
Did u check ur BP?....
