tethered cord connection

This is a strange question:  I have had a strange sensation of a bubble (or cyst) feeling near my tailbone (internal side).  This has been going on for about 2 months.  I have had it in the past and it comes and goes on its own (at least the feeling that something is there).  It is a constant nagging pain. I have terrible insurance so really don't want to get this worked up if it isn't anything to be concerned about.  (my Chiari  history is 16 years with multiple symptoms (acclerated in the past 2 years) and 23 mm herniation). Thanks for your help.
