Chiari Center in Milwaukee

Hey all just a quick update and a question :)

I rejected another stitch two days ago. I have been feeling really poorly still; the symptoms are not improving and have been consistent for 6 weeks or so. I am off the Florinef and that did not seem to be the culprit. The NS has no idea what is going on, and i could go back but at this point it seems pointless.  I am just taking muscle relaxers and the occasional pain meds. This helps, but the pain and stiffness is not under control and my dysautonomia is acting up.

I was doing some research because i am not overly satisfied with either my electrophysiologist or my NS, they are not bad by any means but not great either. I found that there is a Chiari center in Milwaukee! Has anyone been there or heard anything about it? It really appeals to me to go somewhere where the will treat all of my symptoms as a whole, rather than individual issues. They have a comprehensive team of doctors all in one place and I think this might be the way to go! It is also not that much further from the hospitals my current doctors are at which is a huge bonus. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Hope everyone is doing well :)

Hi...I have had a positive experience at TCI in NY...we have had many happy with the Center in CO... and Drs in NC and MD....

I felt so secure knowing I had more then one Chiari specialist in the OR with me, and that is a huge plus with such centers. But not all are alike, so it is good u r asking.

Whoops! I just noticed that someone had just posted a question about the Chiari center in Wisconsin. I guess overall opinions would still be appreciated and input as to wether people have liked the concept of a multidisciplinary team (at any center, not just Wisconsin).
