Do I possibly have Chiari Malformation?

  The thing is, if u have cerebral tonsils that are herniated and causing an obstruction u may have a build up of CSF and it may look like ICP (IH).....but it may be the obstruction causing it...so do make sure u have a true Chiari specialist reviews ur MRI and symptoms to help guide u.

The neuro put me on diamox because my LP's were slightly high. I have not been diagnosed with IH but they r leaning towards that.

  Hmmm so what was ur DX that u r on DIAMOX? Is it IH or POTS?

What symptoms do u feel are the worst right now?

Have u been tested for ehlers-danlos? It can also cause HA's and other issues.

I have not had a tilt table test

  Oh so u may have POTS or IH.....hmmm that would be more the issue then Chiari but I have no way of reading Chiari only if the tonsils are herniated and I did not see that .

I developed a severe headache, tinnitus, blurred vision. Ive been dealing with symptoms for 7 months. My lumbar punctures have been in the low 20's. The neurologist has me on diamox which seems to help my symptoms but not completely.

As I mentioned on the neuro forum, I am not a Dr, and it does not look like the tonsils are herniated, but it does look crowded in there...

May I ask y u feel u may have Chiari, what symptoms prompted u to have a MRI?
