Chiari Malformation !

I went to a nuerologist today about my diagnose of chiari malformation 1, I was so emotional that finally someone will understand what's going on with me.  The headaches, the numbness, the fatigue, the sleepless nights that I experience, You know what he told me... He told me to go see a psychiatrist for my headaches and my emotions.  My emotions was because finally someone will help me.

My question to you is, Do you know any Chiari specialist I could see in Charlotte, NC.  who would understand me.  I will not be emotional next time.  I was just thankful someone will be able to help me and understand my condition.  But that's was a joke.

If you had an MRI and you were diagnosed then he has to do something. If you haven't had an MRI you need to fight for that. Once you get you will find out if you have it o rnot. If you do ask to see a neurosurgeon. You need to get an MRI

I'm in Charlotte, and I go to Dr. Andrea Diedrich at Carolina Neurological on Randolph Road.  I've been going to here since about September, and she's been really great with me.  We still haven't come up with the perfect solution for me, but she gets it.

Young wife...what kind of solutions has your dr. in Hendersonville come up with???  I'm needing some help!!

Right now I've been trying preventative migraine meds, but we haven't really found one that's working great.  What worked for you?  Any help you could give me too would be great!!  My email address is cindy.e.***@****
