Chiari malformation •Type 1

My Niece has been diagnosed with Type 1 Chiari malformations and has recently gone through surgery. I am reaching out to anyone who is able to provide me with a Chiari Type I specialist in the Southern California area particularly located in Orange County. We are desperate and are hoping to locate a doctor that is able to re-evaluate her condition, since her surgery she has been having too return to the hospital on a regular basis due to severe pain, swelling-inflammation, fluid build-up & infection. After researching her current doctor, I have located several negative reviews regarding the level of trust that his patients feel in the decisions that are being made concerning their wellbeing. Please help.

Thank you for the feedback...The list of doctors was helpful I was able to locate a doctor who is willing to review her medical records an provide a second opinion.  She was readmitted today for emergency surgery to locate an stop the fluid that has been building up, 12Hrs have gone bye and so far everthing seems to be looking good.

  So sorry ur niece is having so many post op issues....

Keep her hydrated with water, and have her rest, rest and rest some more to allow her body to recover......
