Chiari specialists in Washington State

Does anyone have a list of NS in Washington State familiar with CM1? The Spokane area would be most convenient.
thanks,
Kim

Hi Stephanie! Thank you for the post.  How are you doing?  I am seeing Dr. Ellenbogen in August.  It would be great to hear about your road to healing...

All the best to you and your family!

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

Both Carolyn and Steph have offered u info on Drs in ur area.....I just wanted to say, that most of us do need to travel to get to a true chiari specialist.

If getting in to see Dr Ellenbogen is possible...I would suggest trying him, since he is in ur state.....Please research all drs to find the dr that is right for u!!

We r happy to have u join our little family here, so sorry for the reason u had to seek us out.

I live in Seattle and I see Dr. Ellenbogen. I know that is the wrong side of the state He is well known in the chiari world. He works at Harborview as well as Children's. If you go to the CSFinfo.org website (Chiari Syringomyelia Foundation). There is a link to a video about him and his practice under there "patient info" tab on the left side.

Good luck I hope you find someone that works for you!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, I live in Canada and don't personally know any of the drs where you live. However, please take a look at this link:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Chiari-Malformation/LIST-OF-CHIARI-SPECIALISTS/show/1121460

It is a thread that Selma put together...it has all the DR's that us on the site have used and liked. Hopefully, there is one in your area! Remember to do your own checking on whatever NS you choose as these are just personal referrals.

Hope that helps! I am sure there may be others that have more info on your exact area.

Take care

Carolyn
