Traveling for first time to high altitude area in Colorado, should I be concerned?

We are planning a trip to Colorado this summer. A drive up to Pike's Peak and other activities in the Rocky Mountains. I'm very active and at this point only have minor flare ups but I wondered if the pressure in high altitude my effect me since I'm not used to it at all...Thoughts?

Hi...we had several members ask about this because of flying and going to CO to see a well known Chiari specilaist . Of those that flew and went to CO none reported any issues with the pressure. We did suggest they try earplanes that help reduce pressure when flying....may help with the mountain?
