Im gald you brought this question up. I've been wondering this for awhile. I finally heard from the NS they got my research on my MRI from Miami back and i have to see my NS on March 22nd. So i will let you know what they say.

Jen u r so right about having the info in ur wallet as well....it is all important and we do not have neone from teh drs office telling us about this.

Your wallet is important, they go through that pretty fast! Just remember cell phones are often lost when in accident, where is wallet is easier to find in purse.
My hubby is a police officer and does accident investigations,
I asked him about it, he said if there is a accident, belongs are everywhere and cell phones usually are in a ditch or what not. Where as to a purse, it's bigger and easier to find.
Wallets are usually on the man's person, back wallet.
The hospital will contact emergency staff and request they find more info.
He feels wallet is pretty important as they start looking for identification first.
NOT saying the ICE is not a good option as well, but make sure you place info in that wallet as well!!!!
I have id necklace and bracelet. I got a sport bracelet....great for those with allergies! It's made of fabric and clips on!
