My goodness. Do you remember what NS you were on a waiting list for? Also, Where is Dr. Heffez? Is he near Duke? I'm in upstate SC and am so afraid I'm going to have to bite the bullet and head up north for NS with a lot of knowledge about Chiari.

no personal experience, but have heard only good things about duke! i was on their waiting list, but could not wait and went with dr. heffez instead. i called them in sept. 09, had my surgery in nov. 09 and they called me with an opening 01/10! good luck!
