Good evening chiari friends.  Selma just let me know that her electricity went out and has come back on (for now) but is flickering so her computer is not working.  Please keep Selma, her DD, and those on the east coast in your prayers!

  Thanks Michele.....I had my parents here this AM for breakfast the little place they like to go was so packed they couldn't get in and they were cold...no power = no heat...they would no stay here last night....But good news, they got their power back today....yeah!!!

My youngest sister got hers, and my other sister got hers yesterday....so one more sister in the dark...her home is closer to NJ and out in the country more so it may take longer for her to get power....She went to work so she is busy during the day, and she has a fireplace so they r warm.....

  HI Mel...yes, finally got in touch with my youngest sister via her DD...they r with out power too...and no cell phone or land lines...so it has been difficult to find out who is ok...but so far they r doing ok...just no power.

I also found out my parents had some water damage...seems like it never ends for them....sigh....

  I am getting info from the power company for all family and friends that r out of power...God Daddy Dave and his inlaws r out of power...my DH is helping the inlaws fix some roofing that came off...

I just got a txt from my one sister her power just came back on....my parents still in the dark...

Trains in NY will be off line for 4 to 5 days so very diff to get around NYC...so DD has off from work again tomorrow....

Hopefully I will be back later tonight all depends...looks like another band of wind and rain may come thru.....nothing like we had last night.

  Hi ALL...thanks for all ur prayers...I find that my power is finally stable...last night it would come on and off so frequently that I could not get the comp running ...lol... neway, I am ok, but my parents, and 2 of my sisters do not have power...I have to see if I can get my parents to come here as I do not want them to sit in a cold home with out hot food...so I will be busy....we do have some clean up...branches down in our yard from our big pine tree and a dead tree in the street out front....it was something to experience.

Will be back when I can <3
