I am going on my ann. of my last surgery on the 27th of this month. There are day's I feel good and I take advantage of it and think I can conquer the world. My husband get's upset with me because then the next couple of day's I am drained . I agree with cash242. You have to find a good balance. I still haven't found that yet LOL. As I have learned this past year. Appreciate each day and just take 1 day at a time. It does get better.
Hey, Im 7 months post-op, i can go all day without napping anymore, but i still get tired really easily.. and anything other then taking things "easy" still wears me out.. like yesterday i went to the pittsburgh zoo.. and if it wasnt fro the facts that 1. i was the navigator home and 2. i only had 3 pages left in the last book in my series.. i would have been out cold all the way home, and im kinda beat today still, i even skipped the gym- which i was gonna start today.I wish you the best, and believe me i am NOT a patient girl!!! but take it easy hun...
I am 7 mo post op and I think around 5 months I got more back but I still get tired easily. Just go with the good days and rest when you need it. It is easy to try to take care all the time but sometimes we need to live also so finding your balance is important. If I have something big coming up I take it easy for a few days and make sure I have rest time after. Best of luck you have been through a lot and the staph was huge also. My dad had staph and it took him awhile to recover from that. I wish you the best!!
Hi...we r all different...I am more than 2 yrs post op and have days that I am just drained of all energy.....
Age, and what else we have going on will affect how we recover...but u have to have patience....go slow.
I still have days like that...it all depends on what I do the day or days b4 as to how tired I get and how long it lasts....
All I can tell u is chiari is life altering and u may have to make changes....
