Good NS or chiari specialist in R.O.I.
Anyone know of a good NS or chiari specialist in Ireland? Is Bolger in Dublin the only one!?

Do research. You might find one closer as the list of doctors are doctors members have seen and actually been treated by and or liked. Who knows you might find one closer to you that fits you perfectly! But most of us do have to travel to find the doctor who fits them just right. And as there are few doctors who really dont truly understand Chiari as a true Chiari Specialist does. I wish I would have found this site before making a very painful 2 hour drive from home just to find out the doctor that I thought was a chiari specialist wasn't. So do research, educate yourself on this condition, then visit consult with a couple of doctors until you find the one that click with you. Hope this help you.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
We do not have a list for Ireland proper....I am sure it also has to do with ur medical health services and how they are offered...but we do have a few members from Ireland and I hope they offer some info on Drs.
As the above poster mentioned many of us do have to travel to get to a true Chiari specialist....and work within out Insurance....if u plan on paying privately u may find others but again u may have to travel.
And as the above posted mentioned u will want to educate urself so when u find the right Dr u will be able to see that...and one way is knowing ALL the related conditions that should be ruled out.
