So thankful to have this site to come to for advice and wisdom!
Glad he is home! Make sure he keeps up the anit-constipation meds and he should not be straining so that makes this problem even more difficult to deal with. Low pressure headaches from leaks are horrible, my feeling is that people will know when something is wrong such as meningitis or leaks, and once you are concerned you just call and make sure someone knows what is happening. Low pressure headaches from leaks are much worse upright so laying down helps. That is one way to know it is low pressure. Hopefully things will go well for him though and there will be no complications! Good luck with things! -zygy
WELCOME HOME MIKE !!
Glad he is home but not as glad as I am sure he and the rest of ur family is....one hurdle cleared.
DO not let him bed, lift etc to help limit the possibility of getting a leak....
rest rest and more rest is what he needs to do.
I slept in my recliner the first few weeks as I preferred the incline to laying flat...more like the hospital bed, and I could not roll around...lol...
One day at a time....
