Had a dream..

As many of you know I have been wrangling with the decision about surgery. Well, last night I had a dream I was at my ns office and I asked him on a scale of 1-10, how bad do I need surgery, his reply...114%! I feel like this was a sign, answer to my wrangling for so long, that I need this surgery before my syrinx gets worse...so, I think im going to have it, either in sept or jan. Yikes! Going back to ns in aug. To find out when.

I'm so happy you found the answers in your prayers.  When you have the feeling in your heart I think it is your time and a good decision. As you said you have time to prepare.  Just keep thinking of the better days ahead after healing.  They do get better over time.  I'm glad to hear your be on here more often.  It is so nice to hear from others.

@ Auntie, you def are NOT alone! I have been wrangling with this since jan 2011¡!..and I have a fairly wide, cord expanding syrinx! Luckily I feel good, so I can prepare and not rush to prepare.  Keep us posted! I'm going to try and post here much more often, I lurk, and read posts daily!

It's encouraging to me to know that I am not alone in wrestling with the decision. I know this sounds crazy but I was thinking if there was one tiny syrinx on my MRI last week that would give me the push I need.Thanks mazie

  I am glad u found a way to be guided to an answer, how ever u got one, ....we all make this decision in our own time, when we r ready, u must be ready.... : )
