There are many and varied symptoms of CM/SM. The only way to get a diagnoses is through a neurologist or neurosurgeon. The diagnoses is achieved by means of an MRI scan. As n4oo66 said you should post a list of the symptoms you are experiencing now and have experienced in the past and go from there however remember these symptoms may be common to other illnesses as well so there is no substitute for a visit to your doctor.

The first thing u want is a copy of ur brain MRI and the report......if u deff have chiari then u want to get other tests done to eliminate the possibility of other related chiari conditions.
Letting us know what ur symptoms r will help as we all will have a diff list.
It is also possible to have several things going on at once and some of ur conditions could have overlapping symptoms making it hard to tell which condition it is caused by.
