Headed to the hospital...

I am assuming that my MRI messed up my shunt but the headaches are so bad that I can not even stand for a minute without going crazy.  Even laying down is bad but standing is impossible.  Luckily I called my NS and he has clinic duty today, I was not sure I could find him until tomorrow and I can't take this much longer.  I am not the kind of person that gets depressed but after more than two years of trying to figure this out I am starting to feel sad and anxious.  Nothing I have for meds is even helping the pain, it has to be the shunt or something is really wrong again.  Hopefully I get some answers and some relief today.  Just had to write and stress because no one else really understand what this pain feels like.

Thanks guys!  Back from the hospital and what a visit it was.  My NS had a very difficult time with my shunt.  The setting would not change and it was stuck at five times the rate it should have been draining.  That would explain the insane head pain.  Hopefully in the next 48-72 hours I will be doing much better.  I have to stay laying down but at least I feel like I have some answers now.  The shunt would not change and I was getting very afraid that it was broken (as you all know, that is how my luck has been).  It is just such a pain in the butt how much crap we all go through!! Thanks for all the love!!
