Hi and welcome!  I was in ICU for 2 days and in a regular room for 2 more days.  I had no real complications and am really glad I had the procedure done.

I hope all goes well for you!

Hello and welcome!

I was in the hospital for 4 days..I too was taken directly to the neuro ward, no ICU.

Any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Hi nice to meet you, although wish it wasn't through this silly condition !
As Selma says, it is different for different people, and how they react to surgery.  I had my surgery on a Thursday, no ICU or HDU for me, straight to Level 1 NS care (pretty much HDU but NS only lol), and was home on Monday.  I've been back 4 times since, but that's a whole different story, and also not normal for every patient.
Hope you find us a good support system.
Emma xoxo
