It was the members of this site that helped me learn about my condition, and I decided to stay and share with others.....
There r so many reasons u could be feeling this way,....could be cerebral ptosis which is if the NS took away too much bone...the brain can fall further down onto the brain stem, so many NS's will not admit this...being in Ireland I do not know if u can get an opinion from a Dr other then the one u have been seeing.....??
Hey Selma.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
Last 1 was last June. I seen my surgeon in November and explained all and he dismissed it.. :( next Mri is in may. I don't wanna be pushy but I know deep down its not normal what I'm feeling....
You are so clued in and educated about your disease.
I've kinda buried my head a bit after the surgery and try and block it out but the pain and symptoms flooding back are getting ridiculous.
Hence why I'm here.
Thanks again.x
Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Many times we will continue to have some symptoms post op, as many do have some perm damage or a related issue going on.
Were u checked for related conditions, syringomyelia, disk issues, tethered cord, sleep apnea, ehlers-danlos, ICP, POTS....??
It could be one of these or could be scar tissue has formed and is causing yet another CSF obstruction ...when was ur last MRI?
