Oh yeah .,..new carpet can affect neone of us especially if we have EDS as we tend to have more sensitivities.
I am so touchy with my DH and the body spray he uses....he finally stopped using it when a child almost died from the way his body reacted to the odor......scary.
For me, it was the outgassing of the paint & carpeting.
Last week, I kept smelling gasoline in my house--I thought I was hallucinating, so didn't mention it to DH. Finally, after several days, I told him, and he said that he had sprayed WD40 on the door hinges. You can imagine, that wasn't very much.
It is the florescent lights...I get like that in stores...more so b4 I had surgery...but I still get nauseated...
B4 I not only got nauseated but I would have to run to the bathroom as my IBS issues went wonky.,...so I am not a fan of shopping and I worked retail for over 15 yrs...lol...but now I know and understand y I was feeling like I was when at work...lol...
Our town has a new library, and I was in there for 5 min. before I got dizzy, nauseous, and I couldn't read.
Those sensitivities can be EDS too...from what I am learning EDS is more on that end....as far as symptoms and issues....
Apparently, scientists (& consumers) have been petitioning the FDA for 3 yrs. with no success, so now there is a lawsuit. Somehow, the organic arsenic changes into inorganic in the chicken.
I have found that the Chiari has made me much more sensitive to my environment--food intolerances, chemical sensitivities, sunlight, pollen, heat, etc.--maybe this might be true for others?
Any other illness or stress sets me back too.
Thanks for this info...there is so much the FDA has allowed that is not good for us....I have avoided all sugar subsitutes as the way they promoted it yrs ago was if u were pregnant to avoid it and it may cause HA's.....well I was pregnant at the time and I always had HA's so I felt if it was not good enuff to have while pregnant it was not good...and now reports are showing that....
We do not have a Church's chicken around here, we do have a Popeye's but since it is a spicy chicken I do not go there...lol...
I found a report on this from 2010 (http://fight4yourhealth.com/answers/organic-vs-inorganic-arsenic) so it appears this is not a new topic of concern....?? Like the orange juice scare last yr?
