I need help...

I have chiari malformation 1. Got help to see a neurologist by the hospital e.r. about a year and a half ago.  The neurologist spent a whole 3 minutes with me and said its nothing to worry about. I have severe migraines, dizziness, numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers, ringing, echoing and severe pressure in my right ear. minimal and occasional in left ear. the back of my neck hurts all the time.  I cant sleep at night without tossing and turning all night. I cant work due to my headaches. I have no insurance and I cannot find anyone to help me. I live in Naples, Florida where its about money, not the human life. Is there ANYONE out there that cares about people that can help me? I really need something done. I cannot live like this!

Have you tried UF or Shands? Not sure how near you are?

  Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Since u do not have ins, u may want to check out the clinical trials ...NIH links are here on the site, use the search this community to find the link and then research the page for current trials....I know some were conducted in FL...but NIH is in MD.
