Hi All, in order to post a Prayer Thread for you, please post your date here on this thread so we know u would like one.

Know/No it does not need to be surgery for Chiari, it can be for  anything.....and know we will keep u in our thoughts and prayers.

We also have tips for the hospital stay in the health pages....so do look there for helpful info.

My Chiari surgery was just done March 30th 2016, very complicated for me . Besides the decompression craniectomy, I also had the duraplasty with graft and lamenectomy of C1 spine. Just was released from the hospital yesterday's. Still having very bad pressure headaches and have yet to find pain meds that work for me. Big prayers to everyone that is heading into surgery and to everyone that is recovering and I wish you all the best!
