JUST WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT I AM HAVING MY DECOMPRESSION SURGERY FEBRUARY 9TH AT 6 AM WITH DR. ELLENBOGEN AT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER IN SEATTLE. PRAYERS WILL BE VERY APPRECIATED!!!

I AM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW!!!!

  Oh I know how it feels...this hurt so bad...in fact I also had a bad sprain from that same fall....and  I still have pain and tenderness in that ankle and I know I have scar tissue in my knee....this cold weather reminds me of it....

Ouch!!! I know, I am injuring myself a lot. It's like Jim Carrey in Liar Liar, when he responded to that guy by saying Im kicking my @ss, do you mind? lol. Maybe not, it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I said I was injuring myself a lot. HAHA, my mind is rather eccentric and complex at times.. I think I am making sense and people around me are like WTH are you talking about!! LOL. HAHA.
I fractured my tibia about 2 years ago and the pain in my knee right now is way worse than the fracture. Weird.

  I did that when I fell, torn the meniscus....I had to have surgery which was all done b4 I got my chiari dx.....

  Crazy how chiari adds to our injuries and surgical experiences.... : P

Thank you friend!!!!! I am so happy. I saw my PCP this AM to address the news of upcoming surgery next Thursday and to evaluate my injured knee. He believes I injured a ligament.. That is just my luck!!!! LOL. He did prescribe vicodin for pain of neck/head and knee. He said that this med doesn't carry any risk for bleeding.

I am so happy for you.  Do try to relax.  It make's it easier.  Also you have something to look forward to.  Not a lot of people are in our special club called ZIPPERHEAD  :)   Every thing will be fine.  Look forward to feeling some relief.  You and Rylanesmom are both in my prayer's.  You will be in good hand's and you finally got the answer's you've been  seeking.  I'm happy for you.  Best wishes are with you.

Thank you Selma!!! I am trying to calm down. I fell yesterday and blacked out for a second. I sprained my knee and am wearing a brace. Thanks for adding me to the prayer thread. I appreciate everything you have done for me.. Your advice has helped me tremendously!!!
