Good luck today:) I hope you sleep the hits noise seems to put me out. They usually put something under my knees and that helps. Like Selma said they will let you ake breaks if needed. (some techs are better Han others) the cine was the shortest part done at the end of my MRIS.
Hi...sorry u r missing the play and I agree ur DS will want u to get better and if this will get u closer then....u have to miss the trip.
A CINE MRI, well from what others have posted it can be diff depending on the dr and how it was ordered...
Mine was in 2 parts, the 1st was like ne typical MRI, then I was brought out for the contrast to be injected and a BP clip placed on my finger...
It was a good 2 hour time frame with the stopping to get the contrast dye injected....
Let the tech know that u have had issues lying flat and they may help u with a break in between....
Good luck
Praying for you I had one and if I remember right was shorter than mri I had but I know when lying flat hurts any amount of time is long just think about getting better because you will!
I haven't had a CINE yet so I don't know what to expect for you. Regular MRIs make me miserable though, in general. Between the position of perfectly flat and the shaking/rattling of the table and the noise... my head hates me when I'm done.
but again, there's nothing wrong with me so not sure why that happens. ;)
Good luck tomorrow!!!
You will be in my thought. It's no fun for you're son, but I think that he wants his mother to feel beter soon.
