My referral to UCSF was approved!
Shocking that I didn't have to go through appeals. My med group never likes to refer out-of-group. UCSF neurosurgery dept called today and registered me with all my info into their system and got me set up for Relay Health; online ability to consult with dr. They said that Dr. Barbaro will look over my file within the next few days and they'll call to schedule an appt.
It looks like I'm finally getting in to see someone who actually knows something about Chiari. Yay!
Wish me luck for a quick appt.
