How do I find a NL who can help me even if I'm lucky enough to have my NS agree chiari is my issue?

My NL agrees I have chiari, but not one that is causing a problem.  I don't know yet how NS views me, will find out Monday.  In the interim, the only help I got today was increase dosage of topamax.

  Hi many times the NL u deal with up until u get to a true chiari specialist may not be the right NL for u....and u will need one post op if u r a surgical candidate and u should have one to do testing to see if u have other related issues.

Once u go to a Chiari specialist (NS) many times they have a NL they work with or can refer u to...just ask.

Hey there. I know what you mean. My NL thinks I need surggery, and I am scared that I will get blown off by the NS again. It is a new one this time so my fingers are crossed. I am sorry that you didnt recieve much help today. Dont give up, you will find the care that you need. Maybe this NS wil be the right one for you.
