I have been really paying close attention to my body lately. Keeping a journal as to when I have headaches, what intensity etc. so when I go see Dr. Oro I have a clearer picture. I have really never paid that close of attention. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. This way I can pay closer attention because I do not want to lead the Dr. on and want a true evaluation. Thank you in advance.
I have noticed that when I have a mild headache it is intensified for about an hour after I eat a meal. I was wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms. I also noticed that when I have stronger headaches my face is number.
Also, I have always had leg and arm pains but I always associated it with my Lupus. I find that I have mild aches on the underside of my forearm on my left arm. I also feels like I have a band around my wrist, above my elbow and just below my shoulder on that same arm but they are not constant but sporadic and they only last for a min. or so. Just enough for me to know they are there. I also have issues with holding my arms above my heart for longer than about 30 seconds. (Curling hair, working above my head) My arms get very tingly and heavy and then start to ache really badly. I also have problems carrying weight of any kind out in front of me or out to the side. (Holding a full laundry basket, or box) My left arm goes to sleep a lot when I am lying down. Always thought my back was out or something. I noticed while driving the car the other day… My left thumb was numb and cold. No other fingers where affected.
As for my legs I have a lot of issues and pains in my weight bearing joints. I am constantly getting sacks of fluid on my left hip that gets drained off occasionally. (This has been going on for years) The bottoms of my feet tingle when I am sitting for more than about 15-20 min. I can touch them and feel that they are then when I touch them but they are still tingly. Sometimes it moves onto the top of my foot but not very much. I also get that same tight band in my left leg but it runs up and down my calf.
