Neurologists in Indianapolis who deal with CM & IH
I am frantically trying to find a NL (NOT a NS) in Indy who deals with these two things... or at least has enough knowledge about them to make appropriate recommendations. I don't really care what facility they are associated with, however there are two groups I can't/won't go to.
I received the name of Dr. Hingtgen at IU Med and contacted her office and left a message, but no one has bothered to call me back. I am going to have my pcp try to get ahold of her tomorrow and see if he can get anywhere. I wanted to talk to someone before I wasted my time, their time, and my $$, to make sure she even handles this stuff, or is willing to educate herself on it so that appropriate recommendations could be made. So far... I'm not liking the "Attitude" that comes with being ignored. **sigh** Even though I should be used to that by now!
I appreciate any and all feedback you can give! I know children and teens more locally who are being seen at Riley by ped. NL, but no adults.

Thank you! I didn't ask Dr. Di... but will when I go back. I am just anxious. I wanted to talk to one before my f/u with Dr. Di... to have some further direction on the whole pressure thing... that's not going to happen.

...sorry I can't remember ur NS, but didn't they refer u to one?...just wondering.I can only think that the NS would have the advantage to know who in ur area is informed on chiari.
Wish we had more info on NL's...I also am having a tough time getting one to see me....
