Hey all! I ahven't been around much, not because I got better and ditched you LOL, but because I am still recovering, and when I am not running my kids back and forth to school, cooking, doing homework with them, taking naps and going to church, I have been trying to deal with planning my wedding. My boyfriend and I decided to finally do it, we will be getting married on our 14 yr anniversary of meeting, March 12th. So anyways LOL.
I know s many of us still have headaches after surgery, and symtoms, and I never heard anyone ever mention Occipital Neuropathy. Dr. Oros assisnt, Kimbrely, suggested I have it, and the pain Dr. confirmed it. Then they did these shots into the nerves in my brain, and I have to say THAT pain is better. Not that I am pain free, not by a long shot, but at least I don;t have that burning pinching pain in my head anymore. The pain start from the bottom of the back of my head, then shoots in an upward pattern. SO, I wonder if alot of us have this as well as the Chiari. It could only stand to reason that when your brian is hanging and being compressed, some damage is done Also, having the surgery, then having them cauterize your cerebeller tonsills has to attribute to it.
Just a thought, and maybe smething to mention to your doctor if you are still having HA.
SO, how are all of you guys doing lately? :)
