:)  LOVE the humor!!!  I swear I will find a great anti-cow t-shirt just to wear and laugh about :)  I would like to find that cow and give him a talking to!  Maybe we had the same cow :) LOL  YUP, lots of movies and boring stuff but getting better each day!  Can't wait to feel good again!  Thanks so much for the kind thoughts, it is so much easier to recover when you are laughing and smiling!  -zygy

So happy to hear you are home.  You will be able to rest more.  Do listen to the Doctors and don't do a thing.  It will heal easier this way.  Our cows must of been from the same herd because I had a leaker too :)   tried to put a little humor in there.  Get caught up on my movies you haven't seen in a while.  Praying for better tomorrows.
Linda :)

Home but still so sore  and exhausted.  Even hurts to type, IV's and such made my hands so sore.  Instructions to do NOTHING... sit, walk, sleep and NO lifting at all.  Hardest surgery yet.  The pulling of the shunt tube yesterday was weird, felt like he was pulling my right leg out my back!  CSF would not stop flowing out my side (following the tube path) Ended up with a massive low pressure headache.  Multiple time trying to get it to stop and then finally glued it shut.  Found multiple leaks where the remnants of the bovine patch were ( i hate that cow)  he got out what he could, harvested more  of my pericranium and patched again, then used the muscle facia (spelling?) to make an additional patch, guess they put in over 60 stitches inside my head just putting in patches. Then closed my head, didn't shave much hair this time.  The incision on my side is pretty sore but I am so happy the shunt is out.  Time will tell how my abdomen feels now.  Wish I could take pain meds, I had meds for first 48 hours in the hospital then quit.  I would love a break.  Maybe in a few days.  Never want to see Morphine again!  Really hope with all my heart that this is the last one and that I have no complications!  Also wish the next couple of weeks would fly by so that I can just feel normal for a few minutes.  Thanks for the kind thoughts! -zygy
