Possible chiari?

Hi...

I've been diagnosed with POTS, gastroparesis, and am now being evaluated for mast cell disease and eds (I'm certain I have these two diagnoses)

I'm wondering if I post pictures of my mri if any of u might be able to tell if I have a possible chiari... I'm in the process of downloading all the images onto my computer... I have one unclear picture which I will post now... the rest I will post later... I have all the symptoms but my neurologist thinks it's something else since I have so many things going on... regardless perhaps someone can tell if this is a possibility...

Yes, I just looked at it and again, not being a medical professional only someone that has seen MRI's like this b4, I would say you have some overcrowding...if it is Chiari or not ,it does appear to be low lying tonsils and that indicates symptoms to be the same as Chiari and it is treated the same.

Mast Cell disease is common for those with EDS and those with EDS we tend to have Chiari...as many are starting to believe it is the EDS that causes the Chiari to occur.

If you can let me know what area you are from I may be able to offer a list of Drs for you to research.

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

To upload a pic, download to your computer and go to your profile page, there are photo albums where you can choose to add a pic, click on that and then it will say select a pic and should take you to your computers location of stored pics.....then select the one you want to upload.

Hope this helps.
